The practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), or Acupuncture as it is known in the West, has a long and dynamic history, which began to take form nearly 5000 years ago. In our practice, we emphasize on taking each individual into account as a whole entity, rather than simply treating "diseases".

Robert & Tao Herbs & Acupuncture LLP ( called Tong Yi Tang ) was founded by Dr. and Professor Harry Xie 20 years ago, and currently run by his two sons Dr. Robert Xie and Dr. Tao Xie in Fremont and Sunnyvale of California. They are 4th generation TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) practitioner. The original Tong Yi Tang clinic and herb pharmacy was founded in Tsing Dynasty by the Xie's ancestor in Northeast China.

Dr. Robert & Dr. Tao both graduated from prestigious medicine universities in china and US and are Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of California and is a Diplomat of Chinese Herbology NCCA. They both master many different ancient acupuncture skills and more.

They both have years of experience and have thousands of patients and are famous in bay area, They often have patients come from Canada, Taiwan, Alabama and other places all over the world. Both of them are very devoted to their work and take tender care of their patients.
